German Medieval Eltz Castle 🦇 Gothic Romance at Its Peak
Eltz Castle is an astonishing medieval castle perched on a hill in the Moselle Valley of Germany. With its picturesque setting and well-preserved architecture, it attracts many student groups and travel enthusiasts. It's a must-visit destination for history buffs and lovers of romantic architecture. The most beautiful photo spots are from the outside and surrounding areas looking at the beautiful castle, but there's nothing particularly grand or extraordinary inside the castle. The rooms are small, and you can only visit a few of them. Photography is not allowed inside. The most impressive things are some medieval bedrooms and dining rooms, furniture, uniquely German ceiling beams, vintage kitchen areas, and cooking utensils. Transportation and Admission: We drove from the Frankfurt area, and it took less than 2 hours. Parking is 4 euros, and admission is 14 euros. No advance booking is required. We bought our tickets inside the castle gate. It's a 15-20 minute walk to the castle. There's a bus that can take you close to the castle for 2 euros, but we decided to walk because the scenery along the way is beautiful for photos. The staff are very friendly, professional, and responsible; you can ask them if you have any questions. Dining: There is a small restaurant before entering the castle with beautiful prices. There are free public restrooms for men and women in the scenic area, and the prices for souvenirs are reasonable. Weather: The only downside is that it's quite cold here; it feels like the rain is not rain but knives, so be sure to dress warmly!! However, taking photos of the castle on a rainy day gives it more character, with fewer people and better pictures, so it's all about luck~ #Germany #TakeAWalkInTheSpring #FrankfurtArea #GothicStyle #Castle
