Giant Seafood Platter at Catch by Simonis

A rare seafood feast in The Hague, with a day of giant portions! We started with a Caesar salad + shrimp, loaded with cheese and lots of dressing – tasty! The €55 per person seafood platter was a jaw-dropper for me and my friend. Special shoutout to the plump, juicy oysters paired with a flavorful red wine vinegar sauce. There were also two amazing sauces for the shrimp, though I’m not sure of their names. 🦐🦪 The lobster was super fresh, with a tender texture that’s hard to find at local spots. It tasted amazing with a squeeze of lemon and sauce – perfect for the shrimp too! Some of the other shellfish were a bit underwhelming, though. 💵 Total Cost: €200 for two people, including salad, seafood platter, 2 glasses of white wine, 1 cocktail, bread, and a large bottle of sparkling water. 👍 Review: Great for a friend gathering, with fresh seafood and fantastic sauces.
