Giulia in Cambridge
Finally got to try the notoriously hard-to-book Giulia in Cambridge. Overall, it was decent but didn't quite live up to the sky-high expectations. 🍄 Truffle Season Limited Menu (Worth a Try) The highlight of the season is undoubtedly the truffle menu — the black truffle pasta was fragrant with generous shavings, though the sauce leaned a bit heavy. The white truffle risotto had a nice al dente texture but felt somewhat restrained in seasoning. 🥩 Braised Wagyu Beef Cheek (Not Recommended) The meat was stewed to an overly soft texture, lacking depth, and the red wine sauce didn’t elevate the dish. This was the biggest letdown of the evening. 🍧 Pistachio Gelato (The Real Star) Creamy, rich with natural pistachio flavor, and topped with crunchy roasted nuts — a perfect ending to the meal. Ambiance & Service Warm lighting and wooden decor create a cozy Italian trattoria vibe Service was professional though slightly reserved Recommended to book 2–3 weeks in advance via Resy 💡 Ordering Tips Try a truffle dish or two, skip the beef mains, and save room for dessert. A solid spot for a date night, but don’t go out of your way to secure a reservation. #BostonEats #CambridgeFood #ItalianCuisine #TruffleSeason #FoodReview
