Glendale’s Hidden Viral Korean Spot Beats SunNongDan Hands Down
After seeing it hyped up so much , I finally got to try Jincook—and it totally lived up to the buzz! 🥹 (Pro tip: It now has multiple locations in LA, so you can pick the one closest to you instead of making a special trip… but trust me, the food is 100% worth going out of your way for too!) 📍 Spot Details Name: Jincook Address: 310 N Brand Blvd, Glendale, CA 91203 🇰🇷 Why It’s Better Than SunNongDan (SND) Their menu is similar to SunNongDan, but way more budget-friendly—total money-saving win! 🤑 The portions are also huge: the beef pot, for example, had so much beef that two people couldn’t finish it. We even took the leftovers home for another meal later—unbeatable value. Just like SND, they also serve complimentary side dishes (banchan) and rice—super thoughtful, and perfect for pairing with the main dishes! 🔥 My Visit Experience I went on a weekday around 1 PM, and there was no wait at all—no standing around, just quick seating! The restaurant has a simple, clean interior that feels really cozy. I saw lots of people recommending their fried pork cutlet and chicken cutlet rice (apparently they have a runny, oozing center! 🧀), but I was too full to try them this time. Next time, I’m definitely going back to check those out—they sound amazing! 😎 💡 Perfect Post-Meal Hack Porto’s Bakery is right across the street! After finishing your hearty Korean meal, pop over to grab their famous Cheese Roll—sweet, savory, and buttery. It’s the ideal way to end the meal—total chef’s kiss! 😋 #LAFood #laFood #LosAngelesLife #laFoodExploration #InternationalStudents #StudentLife #LosAngelesKoreanFood #laKoreanFood#LosAngelesKoreanFoodRecommendations #Sunnongdan
