Gout-Inducing Feast 🍴 Bar Etoile

Bar Etoile had been sitting in my bookmarks for ages— and I finally met up with a friend I hadn’t seen in six months here! 🍞 Chicken Liver – Really salty. Looked pretty, but way too salty. 🥗 Snap Peas – Fresh and delicious! Went perfectly with the ricotta. 🐟 Striped Bass – The star of the meal! Super fresh fish, and the chef cooked it just right for the dish. 🥂 Started with a skin-contact wine—pretty nice! Tried a few of their whites, but none really paired well with the food—each sip felt drier than the last. 💥 Major red alert! Do NOT order that gin—my friend and I both felt side effects the next day. Saw other tables (mostly foreigners) ordering it too—maybe mixing it causes dizziness? Overall, it was a true gout-inducing extravaganza. 💬 Ever had a dish that looked great but was too salty? Share your story! 👇 💬 Tried Bar Etoile? What did you think? 🍽️ #LADining #LAEats #LAWeekend #AestheticMeal #BarEtoile #FoodReview #GoutFeast #DiningExperience #LAFoodie #HitOrMiss #CulinaryAdventure #EatResponsibly
