A bit greasy, but if you have a sweet tooth, try the LOVE ME TENDER! 🥞🍯 Lansing Restaurants (nearby recs!): 🥢 Chef Gong 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 💲 $30-40 In my opinion, the best Chinese food in Michigan! Their Northeastern dishes are super authentic. Every dish is flavorful and generously portioned – no disappointments so far! 😭❤️ Must-tries: Guo Bao Rou (sweet and sour pork) and Xiao Ji Dun Mo Gu (braised chicken with mushrooms). So good I’ll dedicate a full post to them later! 🥟🔥 🍲 Royal Pot 🌟🌟🌟🌟 💲 $30-40 Tried their hotpot before (just okay), but their stir-fried dishes are amazing! We ordered: Twice-Cooked Pork 🥓 Pork with Garlic Sauce 🧄 Zigong Stir-Fried Pig Trotters (crispy and addictive!) 🐖 Hand-Torn Cabbage 🥬 Spicy Chicken 🌶️ The Zigong Stir-Fried Pig Trotters were a standout – crispy like cartilage! Highly recommend! 🧋 Koala Bakery 🐨 💲 $10 A bubble tea and dessert shop I visit every time I’m in Lansing! Wide variety of sweet drinks and desserts – their soy milk pudding box is my favorite! 🍡💛 🍨 Meet Sweet 💲 $10 A locally famous Chinese dessert shop – light and refreshing flavors! They deliver to Ann Arbor once a week via WeChat group orders.
