We stumbled upon the Creole House โ and so glad we did! Housed in one of the oldest buildings on Canal Street, this warm and inviting restaurant gave us the perfect introduction to the cityโs legendary flavors ๐โค๏ธ. I tried the alligator poboy โ and it was absolutely amazing! Tender, lightly fried, and packed with unique flavor ๐ฅช๐. My husband ordered the New Orleans Platter, which came with jambalaya, red beans and rice, crawfish รฉtouffรฉe, and gumbo โ a delicious and smart way to sample a bit of everything ๐ฒ๐. The vibe was cozy and full of character, with friendly staff who made us feel right at home ๐ ๐ซ.
