Absolutely horrendous service received tonight from our server, Kamry.

We were seated after a 20 minute wait, and our server, Kamry, took our drinks and food order relatively quickly. Following that, things went horribly south. We had requested for our food to be sent out at roughly the same time, but one of our dishes came out about 15-20 minutes before the others. We spoke to our waitress - we were told her name was "Kamry", but she was a younger server with pulled back braids - where she told us with an attitude that she had tried her best and that there was nothing she could do to control it. That's understandable, as our meals came from two different places(raw bar and hot food )but we could have dealt with less sass and attitude. Little did we know, that was the most pleasant she was that entire night.

Our food came out, and one dish was salty. We tried to signal her over, but she looked me dead in the eye with a "what the f- do you want" facial expression, put her head back down, and then finally came over when we made eye contact again. Note that this was not a facial expression of confusion - she knew we wanted her, and she did not want to address us, as she assumed we had a problem with her. She was completely unprofessional and downright disrespectful. When Kamry came over to the table, she had a sour facial expression with her hand on her hip - we had asked for a manager. Note that this was purely due to the salty food, but she immediately assumed that we were complaining about her, and her attitude confirmed it.

After about 15 minutes waiting, I got out of my chair, walked up to her at the counter, where she rudely exclaimed upon approaching "it seems like you have a problem, what do you want" in a loud, snappy, and negative tone in front of her colleagues.I asked again for the manager, which she blatantly refused to get as she "could not find the manager" despite no visible attempt. We asked her again for the third or fourth time tonight, she finally got the Assistant General Manager on Duty, who's name was Lawrence, as she realized that we were not playing her little game. We told Lawrence what had happened and requested that her attitude be dealt with tonight, as she was blatantly disrespectful, and needed to be taken off the floor. Lawrence told us that the restaurant was very busy and that he could not deal with her tonight, amongst a myriad of other excuses. He also claimed that he was only working there for a month, which that, coupled with the sad excuses, led us to believe that he did not know how to properly manage his staff.

We have travelled the world and this is the worst customer experience that we have ever received. We understand that people have bad days or a poor personality, but we have never been treated with blatant disrespect by a waitress before. Frankly put - Kamry, or whatever her name may be, needs to be fired. We have never called for anyone's termination, but someone so blatantly rude and disrespectful, and downright offensive and insulting, does not need to work in a service environment at all. Training cannot fix blatant disrespect.

We have requested contact from the general manager Channing LaLande, and we will be filing a complaint with Creole Cuisine Restaurant Concepts, as Kamry brings an extremely negative light on your organization, and is not fit to be a representative of your establishment. We look forward to hearing...

It started off great, we were sat very fast. The server “Bria”, came over to the table fairly quickly. After that it all went down hill. We got our food at separate times. She forgot our oysters. Then forgot extra hot water for tea. Food came out decently fast just not at once. My po boy sandwich had decent spices, overall an adequate meal, no jalapeño as stated on the description and not spicy though. Kids portions of shrimp were good. Oysters so so. The waitress Bria forgot to check on us though after someone else brought the food. I timed it, 18 minutes before she checked on us. Not cool. We had things we needed still to go with our meal. I watched her talk with coworkers sit by the kitchen etc. I watched several other tables sit and wait for NO ONE to come even greet them despite at least 10 wait staff visible. Most standing along the edges of the restaurant just staring and noticing when customers looked their way but did nothing but keep talking amongst themselves. People were visibly annoyed just like us. We asked for boxes and kids for our drink cups and the waitress brought us ONE box and ONE Togo cup for three of us, three meals to take etc; very odd. She then said you can’t take shellfish with you. 😂 that was a very strange thing for her to care about since she never paid attention to us the whole hour we were there. We asked for a manager and he said it’s Louisiana state law but he couldn’t point to a sign in the restaurant or a menus that stated this. Completely invalidating their made up rule. Well little did he know I am a researcher and I pulled up the health department laws. I’ve attached screenshots. There is NO law regarding taking shellfish, oysters etc. They thought we were dumb tourist, we have gotten shellfish and sushi togo 2 times from other places on this trip from another raw bar in the garden district with zero issues . It is upsetting to be lied to, our food TAKEN from us and have sup-par meals. So we paid for food essentially we weren’t allowed to eat and offered a refund for one item. I always thought southern hospitality was a thing but thins place made it look bad. Not even a empathic apology for the poor service or acknowledgment of the wrong doings we got a “ok” as their response. I would not recommend this as a dinning establishment in New Orleans and now that I’ve had the poor experience and looked at other reviews, it all makes sense. Read reviews before dining so you aren’t disappointed. Will have more pics and info on you tube and...

We were walking canal St and we’re hungry. Did google search for nearby restaurants, but didn’t want to goto a restaurant with a low Star review.; since we were unfamiliar with area . Creole house restaurant showed 4.2 stars at the time (12/8/23), so we walked there. I looked at menu pictures on google maps, and the menu pics are accurate to the current menu at the time. Creole was packed, but no wait to be seated. Front door greeter seated us immediately. It was pretty loud in there and the dinning tables are a little on the small side and are mostly packed in the center floor area. There were 3 of us, so we had some elbow room. Waitress approached within a few seconds of us being seated. She was extremely polite and friendly. She quickly took our drink order and had our drinks within a few mins. That was impressive considering the amount of people in there. I made a small scene by accidentally knocking my drink over the edge of the table while moving things around to make room on the table. Wife said everyone in the place turned and looked at me, a little embarrassing. Wife flagged the waitress to point out my blunder. Waitress said no worries, she’ll have someone come right over to clean it up. She was right, a guy with mop quickly came over to clean up my mess and the waitress had me a replacement drink shortly afterwards; they placed the yellow plastic man on the wet floor. The waitress had taken our food order right after we got our drinks (right before I spilled my drink). Right after my mess was cleaned up, our food was brought out to us; HOT and fresh. Two of us ordered fish and shrimp platter. Fish batter was crunchy, with white soft flaky fish inside. It was really good. 3rd person ordered the shrimp pasta, which was also really good. The whole experience was excellent and food was great. I definitely would highly recommend eating here if you’re in on Canal Street. Be prepared to spend about $25-$30 person, the 3 of us spent a little over $110 plus tip. Was it worth that price? We asked each other that, we all agreed food was good but over priced. We were full afterwards, and we thought it was worth about $75-$85, not $110. Will we ever go back if in the area, not sure. We still give them 5 stars for the taste...
