Great Mediterranean Spot in West LA
📍 Zaytinya, located inside The Shay Hotel in Culver City. Valet at the hotel is around $18, but right across the street, the “Platform” shopping center offers parking for just $5 for 2 hours—way more affordable! 🚗💸 This restaurant also has locations in New York and DC, and it’s been a long-time favorite of mine. Their pita bread alone is worth the visit—so crispy, thin, and absolutely delicious! 😍🍞 Here’s what we ordered (in the same order as the photos): Octopus Santorini (I absolutely loved this one! 🐙❤️) Sautéed Shrimp (tasty, but the octopus was my personal favorite) Pan-Seared Sea Scallops Lamb Chops (a must-order—highly recommended! 🥩✨) Halloumi Pide (so flavorful and satisfying) Magic Carpet Ride cocktail—their signature drink. It’s light, slightly sweet, with noticeable herbal notes and a smooth, refined finish. (Also, the ice was so pretty! 😍🍹) Hummus & Baba Ghannoush served with that amazing pita—so fresh and tasty! Overall, I highly recommend this place! The flavors are consistent with their NY and DC locations, and every dish felt well-executed. The restaurant itself is beautifully designed—modern yet warm—and our server was both attentive and professional. 👌🏼💫 The price per person came out to around $70+, which feels fair for the quality and experience. #LosAngeles #LAlife #LAfood #California #HiddenGem #RestaurantRecommendations #VibeDining #LAeats #FoodPhotography
