Great Spot for Xinjiang & Sichuan Cuisine in Seattle! 🐑🌶️

I heard they reopened with a brand-new menu, so I made a special trip to check out Early Bird Cafe today—and I wasn’t disappointed! Note: their pilaf and baked buns require pre-ordering one day in advance. As someone born in Xinjiang, I’m usually pretty picky about Xinjiang food, but both the pilaf and baked buns were solid—my friends loved them too! Though I’d suggest using lamb ribs for the pilaf next time… just a thought 😉 The Sichuan dishes were also on point—the boiled beef and fish-fragrant eggplant were delicious! 🥩🍆 For the cold appetizers, the mouthwatering chicken could use a stronger, spicier kick 🌶️, and the pickles could be a bit tangier. That said, the side dishes served with the pilaf were a nice touch. 👍 I’ll definitely be back!
