Great Summer Spots in Albany

🌟 Located in the plaza on Western Ave, there’s a Cold Stone Creamery ice cream shop. 🌟 The Berry Berry Much flavor is really good—refreshing and not too heavy (highly recommended if you don’t love chocolate or vanilla 😂). It has whole strawberries 🍓 and blueberries 🫐 mixed in. They also have a Mint Chocolate flavor—if you like mint, you might enjoy it (though it’s not my personal favorite XD). 🌟 Choosing a plain cone costs an extra $2, but they have other cone options too. It seems like teens really love the cones! 🌟 They offer three sizes: Like It / Love It / Gotta Have It (basically small, medium, and large). The Like It size is actually quite satisfying if you’re just having it as a snack. 📚 Right across the street, there’s also a bookstore with a section dedicated to local history. They have books on the natural and cultural history of the Adirondacks, Albany, and Schenectady—personally, I highly recommend it!
