Cold Stone Creamery — Restaurant in Town of Guilderland

The service has been slipping for a while, but today’s visit was the last straw. I was in line between two groups of friends — two women ahead of me and a group of guys behind me. My ice cream was prepared without issue, but when it came time for billing, the cashier who helped the women ahead of me first, mistakenly placed my ice cream in their bag. She took it out, started billing them, and then, instead of attending to me, moved on to take orders from the guys behind me.

I stood there at the counter, my ice cream just sitting there, while she proceeded to bill the guys. One of them even pointed toward me, but she ignored it, finished their transaction, and then began billing the group after them.

It’s absurd that she couldn’t be bothered. Unprofessional and disrespectful. I’m not coming back.

The cashier seemed to be friends with both groups as she was conversing in with them in their native language Telugu. I would understand that she was eager to talk to her friends but at place of work be professional and mindful of other...

$12 for two small scoops in a small cup. The staff were very friendly and helpful and they gave me a little scoop for my dog which I thought was kind for them to accommodate. Although it makes me wonder if I wasn’t charged for two ice creams when in fact, all I got was one and a small scoop to the side for my dog , The quality of the ice cream is on par with that of Stewart’s ice cream in my own opinion. I consider myself a connoisseur of high-quality soft ice cream and this unfortunately is not one of them. I suppose there are worse. Another pet peeve is the shape of their spoon. The spoon is very deep with sharp edges on the side so when you take a bite and pull the spoon out of your mouth comes very close to slicing your upper lip. I would describe the ice cream as Lots of sweet lots of fat lots of other fillers not much taste....

Stopped in to use my birthday bogo and was greeted by the most genuinely sweet worker by the name of Thyluja (I truly apologize if spelled incorrectly) she was smiling, kind and polite. I got 2 love it’s with about 4/5 toppings each && she had me give her both order before she started scooping. She needed know reminders && got them right. Granited I would not have minded repeating myself because we are all human and I forgot something so I had to write it down. Needless to say she is the lost efficient and personal employee. Give her a raise because she truly makes this place stand out. I’ve come here multiple times and everyone is always nice. However she truly takes this place to o another level with the customer service. Hard work sometimes goes unnoticed and I want to make sure she knows...
