Great time in the heart of Waikiki

This hotel has a great location—super convenient for getting around, which made my trip so much easier! 📍 The amenities are nice too—everything I needed was available, whether it was for relaxing after a day out or prepping for the next adventure, no complaints there.​ And let’s talk about the staff: they’re great! Friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. The lady who checked me in was especially lovely—we chatted for a bit, and she even hooked me up with a room upgrade! 🎉 Turns out, that little perk happened partly because I mentioned I used to manage money for the Outrigger hotel chain under the old management. I handled part of their pension fund back in the day and have stayed at this hotel many times—small world, right?​ Now, the honest part: The rooms are a little dated. But here’s the good news— the whole place is getting an upgrade soon! 🛠️ While it’s definitely time for a decor refresh, the rooms are totally fine as they are now—comfortable enough for a good night’s sleep, no major issues.​ All in all, it was a very good stay. I felt welcome, had a nice upgraded room, and the location can’t be beat.
