π Great Vibes, Decent Food! π¦ͺ
Ironside Fish & Oyster sits right in the heart of Little Italy. We were a party of 5 and got seated quickly outside at 6:30 PM on a Monday. Parking in this area can be a nightmare ππ₯ β so be sure to allow extra time! I loved the outdoor setup: string lights, heaters, and a lovely view. π‘π If you're coming for happy hour or during peak times, I highly recommend making a reservation! π β¨ The food was okay for me. We ordered 18 oysters for the table: Ironside Selects Oysters (6 for $21) Blue Point Oysters (6 for $21) Premium Kumamoto Oysters (6 for $34) There were plenty of regular oyster options from different regions β we went with one saltier and one sweeter variety. Honestly, I couldnβt tell much difference between the regular and premium oysters β probably wouldnβt splurge on the $34 set again. πΈπ€·ββοΈ Lobster Roll ($33): Served with garlic fries. The toast was tasty and buttery, though a bit messy to eat π¦π. It was just okay for me. The fries were fresh and went well with the sauce! Clam Chowder Fries ($19): Perfect for sharing β and my favorite dish of the night! πβ€οΈ They have a full cocktail book ππΉ, and everyone at our table loved their drinks! Overall, this restaurant is in a great area with a fantastic vibe, but the food is just alright for the price. I get that itβs a solid spot to bring out-of-towners. For me? Iβd come back for their happy hour deals! ππ #IronsideFishAndOyster #LittleItaly #OysterLovers #HappyHourVibes #SeafoodEats #SanDiegoDining #GoodNotGreat #AtmosphereWins
