Half-Day Cruise Stop in Mazatlán, Mexico 🚢🌴

Our cruise's second port brought us to Mazatlán, Mexico! We booked a shore excursion - an open-top bus tour for about $30/person (2.5 hours). Not bad since it required zero planning! 🚌💨 The bus took us around the city with two stops: 1️⃣ Downtown cathedral 2️⃣ Golden Zone beach area Honest thoughts? The city feels... rough 😬. Lots of abandoned buildings along the roads. Only the Golden Zone oceanfront looked clean and pretty with stunning sea views 🌊. The waves were big but the sand was super soft (unlike Cabo San Lucas' gritty beaches). Our guide said Nov-Dec have the best weather (mild temps). Today was ~25°C but brutally sunny ☀️ - the kind that makes you wanna hide indoors! Post-tour, we got mini braids for our kid at the port stalls ($15 for big smiles 🤣). Final verdict?
