Half-Day Trip to Memphis, Tennessee 🚗🎵
Graceland: $75 ticket (covers Elvis’s mansion + private plane + museums) 🎫 I toured pretty quickly and finished in about 2 hours ⏳ My ticket included an iPad audio guide for the mansion tour—and it has CHINESE! 🎧🇨🇳 October was not crowded. Most visitors were older fans—lots of grandpas and grannies! 👵👴😂 PS: Since I’m not a big Elvis fan, I felt the price wasn’t worth it 😅… If you just want to learn about Elvis, go for the $45 museum-only ticket! Beale Street: Plenty of parking around. If you’re worried about safety, choose a paid lot 🅿️🔒 Shops close by 5 PM 🛍️ But the bars and restaurants stay open! Lots of live bands playing inside 🎸🍹 Quite a few homeless people on the street, but don’t stress—it’s crowded with tourists and there are cops around 👮♂️, so they usually don’t bother you. In case of need, just pretend you don’t speak English 🚫🗣️ PS: This place really comes alive at night! Neon lights everywhere, street performers… feels like a Hollywood movie from the 70s! 🌃🎥 Recommended to grab food and drinks anywhere—but since the economy’s not great this year, some places at the end of the street were empty. Pick a crowded spot—it’s tastier and safer! 👍 Food: Fried fish and BBQ ribs—must-tries for every visitor 🐟🍖 Tastes just like what I remember from Southern food… and honestly, American food really isn’t that special 😬🇺🇸 Final thoughts: If you’re quick on your feet 🏃♀️ and not obsessed with Elvis, half a day to one full day is enough! At most… two days! I barely found any detailed travel guides online… probably because there’s just not that much to do? It’s all Elvis, Elvis, Elvis 👑—they really found the key to making money here! 💸😂 #Cleveland #FleaMarket #VintageShop #AntiqueHunter #HiddenGems #OhioAdventures
