Hanami-koji + Gion (Heading towards Yasaka Shrine) 🌿🍃 🌸🌺 No one ever mentions that as you walk from Gion towards Yasaka Shrine at night, the entire path is lit up with lanterns, and late at night, this route is virtually devoid of tourists (it's usually swarming with visitors). 🌸🌺 This path is truly beautiful!! 🏮🌃 Following the route leads you to Hanami-koji, the filming location for "Memoirs of a Geisha," 🌸🌺 but more importantly, it's the actual place where geisha teahouses are located. If you arrive around 23-24 o'clock, you'll just catch the geishas seeing off guests and finishing their shifts, which is a truly fascinating scene! 🎎🌆 🌸🌺 #Hanami-koji 🌸🏮
