Happy Weekend! After sharing Toronto food for a few days,

let’s talk about Kingston. This spot was the most recommended online, so we gave it a try~ It’s in the downtown area with surrounding parking, convenient for self-drivers. Though weekend parking is tough—it’s near the Thousand Islands ferry, so lots of tourists. The interior is quaint with a vintage vibe, and there’s a small private room in the basement. But as a tapas restaurant, portions are small—better for evening drinks than a full meal. ❣️ AAA STRIPLOIN STEAK 👍 Delicious steak with a unique sauce that pairs perfectly. ❣️ GAMBAS AL AJILLO 👍 Garlic cream shrimp with French toast—my favorite of the bunch. Small portion, but so tasty. ❣️ PEI MUSSELS 👌 Sautéed mussels, fresh but just average. ❣️ THAI CURRY COD 🫳 Thai curry with fish—good, but not as impressive as the shrimp or steak. ❣️ JERK MUSHROOM BAO Mushrooms in a steamed bun. Personally didn’t like it—overly modified, not recommended ❌. 🌟 Summary 🌟 Portions are small, but the food is mostly good. Treat it like a bar or izakaya, not a full dinner spot. Most recommended: garlic cream shrimp and steak. Skip the mushroom bao. 📍 Tango Nuevo 🗺️ 331 King St E, Kingston #100RestaurantExplorationPlan #FoodAndFun #StoreHopping #WeekendEats #FoodShare #Toronto #Kingston #KingstonFood #TorontoSurroundingFood #ThousandIslands #ThousandIslandsFood
