I recently had the pleasure of visiting this charming establishment, and I must say, it left a lasting impression. The combination of a cozy ambiance, efficient service, and delectable treats made for an enjoyable experience from start to finish. One of the first things that struck me upon entering was the abundance of seating options. Whether you prefer the warm and inviting interior or the refreshing outdoor seating, this place has you covered. It's a delightful touch that caters to different preferences and ensures everyone can find their perfect spot to unwind. The service provided by the staff was top-notch. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with genuine warmth and attentiveness. The friendly employees were quick to assist and made me feel welcome throughout my visit. Their dedication to ensuring customer satisfaction was evident, and it added an extra layer of comfort to the overall experience. Now, let's talk about the treats. I ordered a cappuccino to go and paired it with a cherry danish. Both were simply divine. The cappuccino boasted a rich, velvety texture with the perfect balance of coffee and creamy foam. It was evident that the baristas take pride in their craft, as the coffee was expertly brewed. As for the cherry danish, it was a heavenly delight. The pastry was flaky and buttery, with a delightful burst of sweet cherry filling that perfectly complemented the layers of dough. Quality was clearly a priority at this establishment. The attention to detail in the preparation of both the beverages and pastries was remarkable. Each sip and bite was a testament to the dedication and skill of the talented individuals working behind the scenes. Overall, I wholeheartedly recommend this place to fellow coffee and pastry enthusiasts. The pleasant atmosphere, exceptional service, and mouthwatering treats make it a standout destination. Whether you're looking for a cozy spot to relax or a quick grab-and-go option, this place has it all. Don't miss out on the opportunity to indulge in their delightful offerings – you won't be disappointed!

Excellent coffee house located near the bottom of Princess St. There's a good amount of seating and I've never had an issue getting a seat there. Staff are all extremely friendly. Nice relaxed atmosphere. Staff are fast too never had to wait more than a couple of minutes for a drink even when there is a line up. Food and drink selection is tremendous. The food in particular really stands out compared to other places in Kingston. Fantastic sandwich selection and they are delicious and packed. I'll often split the sandwich over lunch and dinner it's that big. Dessert selection is fantastic and all the locals know that the best dessert here is the salted caramel square so be sure to try that.

I cannot overstate how deeply disappointed I am with this establishment. My visit to Coffee & Company on Princess st. was, without question, one of the most unpleasant experiences I’ve ever had in any café — and I’ve been to a few.

My friend and our 2 four-year-old daughters were looking forward to enjoying some time together over a treat, but instead, we were met with rudeness, hostility, and an outright lack of basic human decency.

The owner, an older woman who seemed to take pride in her grumpy demeanor, approached us shortly after we arrived and asked us to leave. Her tone was sharp, condescending, and downright cruel—not just to us adults but to our little girls, who were sitting there drinking hot chocolate and drawing on their papers.

I could feel the embarrassment radiating from the other patrons, one of whom actually apologized on the woman’s behalf. That should tell you everything you need to know about the kind of person running this place.

What kind of business thinks it’s acceptable to treat customers—let alone a parent with a child—with such blatant disrespect? A café should be a warm, welcoming space, but this was the polar opposite. If you’re in the mood for a side of rudeness and hostility with your coffee, then by all means, stop by here. Otherwise, save your money.

I wouldn’t go back to this place if...

I come here pretty much every morning as a routine now. The two owners working here have memorized my coffee, and my meal (when I get it). The coffee is fantastic and the breakfast sandwiches are great for on the go.

I have been meaning to write a review for almost three months now but procrastination is a pain!

Today reminded me, when i was half asleep and thought i ordered a latte, but think I ordered a French vanilla instead. I had already paid for the drink and they were happy to make the latte. I am pretty sure it was my fault because I was so tired, but regardless of the drink they make fantastic beverages so whatever I ended up with I would be happy with anyways.

Prior to this visit - and the many morning routine ones, I have tried their Italian sodas, strawberry Danishes, mochas, and cappuccino's - they all are wonderfully made and well balanced in flavour. My spouse loves the monkey (banana mocha) as well - it's not for me - not a banana mocha person - but he swears by it.

Also having a sweet spot for jazz, they play jazz music in the mornings and it really sets a nice vibe before work. They let me come in with my scooter and sit down, and are always welcoming and friendly :)

Highly recommend this place. Never had a bad experience, and have been here a lot over the...
