Hawaii ๐ŸŒบ 12 Must-Try Food Spots That Made My Trip Unforgettable! ๐Ÿฅน

After tons of research, Iโ€™ve curated this list of absolute gems! Just got back and had to shareโ€”feel free to save this and take notes! ๐Ÿ”น Day 1 ๐Ÿ› Island Vintage Coffee ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ We were exhausted after an 11-hour flight, but this meal brought us back to life! The portions are hugeโ€”must order the braised beef loco moco, so flavorful when mixed with rice! I also tried the aรงai bowl with coconut ice cream, which was delicious. My boyfriend had the wagyu burger with sweet potato friesโ€”crispy and amazing! ๐Ÿ”น Day 2 ๐Ÿฃ Sushi Ginza ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ We were lucky to snag a Monday lunch reservation for just $150 per person! The omakase included 15 courses, and every piece was fantastic. The fish slices were twice the size of what we get in New Yorkโ€”so satisfying! The service was impeccable. A must-visit for omakase lovers! ๐ŸŸ Poke for the People ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ Some of the best poke on the North Shore! Super freshโ€”we tried the ahi and salmon, both incredible in taste and texture. The sides like crab stick, seaweed, and purple sweet potato were also delicious. Donโ€™t miss this if you love poke! ๐Ÿ”น Day 3 ๐Ÿž Kona Coffee ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ We arrived around 11 AM, and the line wasnโ€™t too long. Their signature black sesame kouign-amann was flaky, buttery, and so aromatic! I totally regret not buying more to take with me. ๐ŸŸ Izakaya Uosan ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ Absolutely divine! The uni and butter rice is a must-orderโ€”so sweet and rich! We also loved the foie gras with daikon, wagyu and foie gras sushi, uni sushi, and the uni shiso fish roll. Everything we ordered was a hitโ€”no regrets! ๐Ÿ”น Day 4 โ˜•๏ธ Umi ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ This restaurant is located in our hotel, and while some people recommended it, we found it just okay. The dishes were a bit too salty for our taste. ๐Ÿž Halekulani Bakery ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ The most famous item here is the coconut cake, but we also tried the matcha explosion pineapple bun (so good!), the dark chocolate sea salt caramel bun (decadent and sinful), and the fig and ham Danish (a perfect sweet and savory combo). ๐Ÿข Yakitori Hachibei ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ Iโ€™m obsessed with their butter-grilled corn! The cheese tofu, wagyu and uni skewers, grilled eel, and chicken skewers with raw egg dip were all incredible. Every bite was a delight! ๐Ÿ› Island Vintage Coffee ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ We came back for one last meal before leaving. Their papaya was even sweeter than the ones from ABC Store! The crab scrambled eggs were massive and so tasty. This place is definitely worth multiple visits! #ShareYourFavoriteCafe #GlobalFoodSquad #Hawaii #HawaiianFood #HawaiiTravel
