✨ Hayato | Winter Menu ❄️

This year, I went from saying “I have to try Hayato” to becoming what you might call a regular. Usually, the magic fades once you’ve experienced something — but not with Hayato. No matter what city I visit or what new restaurant I try, Hayato stands alone. Every meal still leaves me in awe. I’ll keep it simple — these are just my personal thoughts, since taste is such an intimate thing. 🍣 A few standout moments: The ikura (salmon roe) — I usually find it salty or fishy, but here it was delicate, almost like a gentle soup — pure umami without any harsh saltiness. Grilled matsutake mushrooms — I could’ve eaten twice as much… and they actually served it twice, but still not enough! Crab, crab, and more crab — an absolute delight in every preparation. And the unagi don — I had three bowls. Literally didn’t eat anything the entire next day. In short: It’s that good. The kind of good that makes you want to return — ten times over. #Hayato #HayatoLA #LosAngelesOmakase #MichelinDining #JapaneseCuisine #FineDiningLA #WinterMenu #FoodMemories #LAEats #CulinaryArt
