Helsinki One-Day Itinerary: Must-See Spots & Food 🏛️🍽️

As the capital of Finland, Helsinki is definitely worth a visit! You can easily cover the main attractions in one day (or a day and a half). The city is well-connected — use ride-sharing, metro, or simply walk everywhere! 🚶‍♀️🚇 🏛️ Attractions: 1️⃣ Uspenski Cathedral (Red Church) – Beautiful outside, average inside ❤️⛪ 2️⃣ Helsinki Cathedral (White Church) – Perfect for photos 📸☁️ 3️⃣ Temppeliaukio Church (Rock Church) – The most unique! €8 entry 🪨🎶 (Note: It’s a bit farther from other spots) 4️⃣ Amos Rex Art Museum – 🎨🚪 (Closed both days I went — check opening hours!) 5️⃣ Oodi Central Library – Great for photos, coffee, and relaxing ☕📚 6️⃣ Downtown Shopping – Home to the world’s most affordable LV! 🛍️💸 (But be ready to queue — I waited 2+ hours!) 7️⃣ Old Market Hall – Must-try salmon soup 🐟🍲 + local snacks! 🍽️ Food Recommendations: 8️⃣ Kapellet – A century-old restaurant 🍴 Must-order: Salmon soup + reindeer meat 🦌 Price: ~300-400 RMB per person 💰 9️⃣ Hunan Snack House – For those craving Chinese food! 🌶️🐟 Try the steamed fish head with chili — and book in advance! 📞 📍Accommodation Tip: We stayed downtown — everything was within walking distance 🏨🛍️ The mall was right across, and the train station was <10 mins away 🚉✨ #Travel #Finland #Helsinki #FoodGuide #EuropeTravel #CityWalk #LuxuryShopping #Scandinavia 🇫🇮✈️🍣
