Narinkka Square — Attraction in Helsinki sub-region

Narinkka market square is well known place to arrange all sort of outdoor activities from snowboard jumping competitions to football matches and Eurovision contest. This versatile use of this square makes it one of the most popular places to be when something special needs to be arranged. I can't complain its location. It's really easy to get here from all over capital area.

People tend to misleadingly call this place narikka (cloakroom) market square but it's really Narinkka market square. It got its name from Russian word that mean market place. This market was in this spot in the beginning of 20th century when Finland still was a part of Russia hence name that has a foreign meaning. Piazza nel centro di Helsinki vicino al museo Amos Rex. Piena di giovani e con un centro commerciale , metro e autobus. Nel bel mezzo della piazza c'è la Kamppi Chapel of Silence. Tutti sono i benvenuti alla cappella di legno per un momento di quiete. All'ingresso sono presenti dei rappresentanti della chiesa per coĺloqui e parole d'aiuto. La cappella è stata progettata dall'architetto Mirko Summanen, Niko Sirola e Kimmo Lintula.le pareti esterne sono fatte in abete, quelle interne in ontano fregato i mobili in frassino. La croce situata su un semplice e piccolo altare è opera di Antti Nieminen. Nella chiesa sono presenti dei cuscini fatti in tessuto di seta creati dall'artista Tiina Uimonen.
