🌟 Hidden Gem in the USA – Little Rock, Arkansas .🏞️

Just finished a road trip through the heart of America, and Little Rock was one of those quiet, natural, and surprisingly charming stops! 🌳💖 It felt peaceful, well-kept, and relaxing—plus, it’s only an hour away from Hot Springs National Park (the smallest national park in the U.S.!). We spent two full days here, and it was the perfect way to unwind and recharge. 🚗✨ 🏨 Hotel Recommendation: Aloft Little Rock West (part of Marriott) 🍷☕ We booked a package that included a free bottle of wine per night and a $10 Starbucks voucher! The view from our room faced a beautiful forest (see first photo 🌲🍂). It rained briefly while we were there, and the autumn colors suddenly popped—so magical! 🚗 Day Trips & Nearby Attractions: There’s not a ton to do right in downtown Little Rock, but the area near our hotel had a large plaza with great restaurants and shops. There’s also an outlet mall about 10 minutes away by car! 🛍️🍴 Hot Springs National Park: 🏞️💧 We originally wanted to stay in the park, but the lodging was pretty basic. The area has historic charm—it was used as a recovery center for soldiers after WWI. The natural hot springs flowing from the mountain are incredible! We lucked out and booked a private bathhouse session at 5 PM. The facilities are simple, but the experience was so unique—like visiting the “Hokkaido of America” 😄 Anthony Chapel & Garvan Woodland Gardens: ⛪🌷 This stunning glass chapel is part of the University of Arkansas and sits deep in a forest. Nearby, a park with freely roaming peacocks 🦚 added to the fairytale vibe! We went right after the rain—the air smelled sweet and fresh. 🍣 Restaurant Recommendation: After days of heavy Southern BBQ and steak, I was craving something light! Kemuri—the top-rated Japanese spot in town—did not disappoint. 🍱🎎 They offer outdoor dining (dog-friendly! 🐶), and the neighborhood around it is filled with beautiful houses that reminded me of a quaint German town. Perfect place to detox from all the meat! 😂 Little Rock may be underrated, but it’s definitely worth a stop for its nature, history, and calm vibes! #USA#LittleRock#Arkansas #HiddenGems #RoadTripUSA #HotSpringsNationalPark #TravelDog
