Hidden Gem Japanese Restaurant in KT — umaya 🍣✨

After being in KT for so long, it’s my first time discovering this amazing Japanese spot right nearby! The vibe is absolutely perfect 💯 The space is spacious and clean, with a fully open kitchen. The chefs and hostess bow politely to greet and say goodbye — such a warm touch! I’m pretty picky about restaurant lighting, and here the brightness and softness are just right. The small lamp on the table lights up the food beautifully without being harsh. 🍣 We ordered two appetizers and some sushi. The umaya special was stunning — 9 different small dishes presented in a gorgeous grid box, satisfying both the eyes and the taste buds! The scallop and sweet shrimp were fresh and delicately sweet.
