Hidden Gem Jiangzhe Cuisine in LA✨

Had another family feast today — this time we chose Jiangzhe cuisine! I’ve loved Long Xing Ji’s soup dumplings and cilantro pork kidney since their old Quan Tong Plaza days, but this was my first visit to their new Baldwin Park location. ⭐ Soup Dumplings (Xiao Long Bao) Thin skin, bursting with broth — as delicious as ever! Made fresh to order, and you can watch through the open kitchen. I personally prefer the less-sweet style here. 🦀 Crab Roe Soup Buns Loaded with real crab roe and shredded ginger inside. Sipped the broth through a straw — it just kept coming! Such a luxurious treat. 🥟 Shepherd's Purse Wontons I dare say these are the BEST shepherd's purse wontons in LA! Generous filling, thin wrapper, and the shepherd's purse is so fragrant. One bite brings pure satisfaction 👏 ✨ Crispy Eel (Liangxi Cui Shan) A delightful surprise! The eel is fried crispy and fragrant, coated with a rock-sugar-like sweetness — snackable and addictive! 🥗 Cilantro Pork Kidney As a cilantro lover, this combo is unbeatable! The kidney is tender and pairs perfectly with fresh cilantro. 🍜 Spicy & Sour Beef Rice Noodles Solid performance — my family enjoyed it! Tangy, spicy, and appetizing. 🥮 Yulan Cake (Yu Lan Bing) My first time trying this! The outside is glutinous and chewy (like fried sticky rice flour), filled with savory minced pork — similar to pan-fried bun filling. I love anything chewy and glutinous like this — so good 💕 🍖 Wuxi Braised Pork Ribs Tender ribs with a sweet profile — perfect for those who enjoy sweet-savory flavors. 🧆 Fried Gluten Balls Stuffed with Meat (You Mian Jin Sai Rou) Crispy gluten skin wrapped around juicy meatballs — every bite is deeply satisfying! Their menu is extensive, making it great for family gatherings or company meals.
