Hidden Gem Neighborhood at the Foot of Pikes Peak 🏔️✨
📌 Colorado Springs This area is compact and perfect for a relaxing stroll, taking photos, eating, and drinking. There aren’t many tourists, and the streets are quiet and clean. Whether it’s locally-owned cafes, bookstores, bars, or souvenir shops, each has its unique charm with friendly prices—even indoor parking is unbelievably cheap ($1/hr)! If you charge your electric vehicle, parking might even be free? 🚗💡 I visited two small spots this time: 1️⃣ Bird Tree Café ☕️ A super vibey little shop with beautiful decor and photogenic food presentations. The staff are warm and friendly 😸 What I ordered👇: • White Rabbit Mocha 🥤 (recommend less sugar!) The foam is incredibly thick, almost like cream cheese. It has a subtle spice note—might feel unusual at first, but it grows on you! A mysterious flavor worth trying if you love new experiences. • Wake’n Bacon 🥓🍳🍔 (Bacon, cheese, and egg mini burger) Sunny-side-up egg加分!The bacon was crispy and satisfying. • The BLT 🥓🥬🍅 (Bacon Lettuce Tomato sandwich) Bite after bite of pure satisfaction! Comes with pickles and chips—refreshing and perfect for when you’re hungry at noon. 2️⃣ Pikes Peak Lemonade 🍋 An adorable little shop where the staff are enthusiastic and full of ceremony—they let you pick your own straw! What I ordered👇: 🥤 Hibiscus Lemonade 5(Sparklinghibiscuslemonade)Asoftrosypinkcolorwithalightfloralaroma—refreshingandtotallysummervibes.Unliketypicalstore−boughtlemonades,itgoesdownsmoothwithoutanythroatirritation—bigplus!Their🫙∗∗glassbottleLemonade∗∗17 can be taken home, lasts one year, and makes a great gift or travel souvenir. Maybe because it’s not a tourist hotspot, the prices feel more genuine.
