π Hidden Gems in Japan: My First Encounter with Shikoku π
I've been to Kansai and Kanto many times, but Shikoku is a new adventure for me. Takamatsu, located in the northern part of Shikoku, is a lesser-known travel destination. It's not far from Osaka, and I found it to be a comfortable and less crowded place that I really enjoyed. Here's a 4-day, 3-night itinerary that avoids the pitfalls, hoping it helps you too! π€ π§Ύ Pre-Trip Preparations βοΈ Departure: Direct flights to Takamatsu are limited. For domestic departures, the only option is to fly with HK Express from Hong Kong. I started from Shenzhen and took the opportunity to experience the Sea-Sky Express, which was surprisingly convenient! Not only can you avoid the Hong Kong airport departure tax (120HKD), but after checking in and checking your luggage at Shekou, you can take a boat directly to the Hong Kong airport Sea-Sky Building, making it very easy to get to your gate. π Immigration: Fill out the entry paper or screenshot the QR code for VJW, choose one. πΆ Internet: It's convenient to open a roaming package. π¨ Accommodation: I stayed at the Daiwa Roynet (for reference only), which is located near a commercial street and not far from Ritsurin. π Itinerary βΆ Shenzhen Shekou β Hong Kong βοΈ Takamatsu β Central Shopping Street β Nishikoji β· Takamatsu Port β Shodoshima β Twenty-Four Eyes Film Village β Sakurai β Kankakei β Olive Park β Angel Path β Mikayla βΈ Ritsurin Park β Nakano Udon School β Unpenji Mountain Top Park β SORAKIN β Shijan βΉ Yaku Island Summit β Shikoku Village β Wara Home Udon βοΈ Hong Kong #JapanTravel #EveryMomentMatters #OffTheBeatenPath #MySecretTravelRoutes #HKExpress #WhereToGoForVacation
