Takamatsu | Cherry Blossom Hunting Success(2)πΈ
Food and Drink Records ππ π’π Men-do Watanabe π: One of the top 100 udon shops. You queue up, get your own tray, fill your water cup, order, pick up tempura or side dishes, get your noodles, and then pay at the end. The portions are generous, the prices are affordable, and the taste is good. It's best to decide what you want to eat in advance because there's no time to think when ordering. πΈπSanuki Tsukemen Kanawa π: Went here after not being full from Ichi-Tsuru. It's also one of the top 100 shops but in an izakaya (Japanese pub) style, where each person must order at least one drink. π’πThe noodles here are chewier and smoother. I also ordered chicken breast tempura and oyster tempura, both of which were delicious. Bone-in Chicken Ichitsuru π: I ordered the tender chicken after the bone-in chicken was sold out. πΈπ It's one of the few dishes in Japan with a bit of spice, slightly salty but with tender chicken. π’π It's a standard taste, but when in Takamatsu, you have to give it a try. Takamatsu Bunpachi π: The second best yakiniku (grilled meat) place in Takamatsu, located near Wabacho Station. πΈπ The meat is just average. Minami Coffee βοΈ: In Minami-Shinmachi Shopping Street, almost fully booked early in the morning. π’π During breakfast time, you get butter or jam toast with your coffee. The coffee is cheap and tasty, and you can get a 100-yen discount on refills. The only downside is that smoking is allowed inside. πΈπ Jindai π΅: After climbing the mountain, it's nice to have a place to rest and enjoy some sweets. #CherryBlossomNightFestival #SpringMountainsInSpring πΈπ
