Hidden in the corner of the street is a superb Western pasta
đ Harvest: Bostonâs Under-the-Radar American BistroâWhere Lamb Pappardelle Steals the Show Donât let the unassuming exterior fool youâthis spot, found randomly on Google Maps, is a total gem. Think classic American-Western fare with surprising depthâseriously, add it to your list. đ The Must-Orders (No Brainers) Lamb Pappardelle: 5 stars, Boston top-tier pasta. Wide, ribbon-like noodles tossed in a rich, slightly sweet sauce with tender chunks of lamb. Itâs slightly greasy, but in that âI canât stop eatingâ way. No other lamb pasta in the city comes closeâtrust me, Iâve tried. đđ Pate de Campagne: 5 stars, elevated âwhite people foodâ. Creamy, savory pate mixed with crunchy pistachiosâso fragrant. Served with fig jam (a little too sweet, but balances the richness) and crusty bread. Who knew pate could be this addictive? đĽ Rabbit Dish: 4 stars, tender and tasty. Juicy, springy rabbit meat with a mild flavorâdelicious, but overshadowed by the pasta and pate. Pro tip: North Endâs rabbit ravioli is also amazing (check my old posts! đ°). â The Flop: Buckingham Cocktail 1 star, hard pass. Boozy to the point of being harsh, with zero complexity. Iâm a pro at picking bad drinks, but this one takes the cake. Skip it. 𼴠đ¨ The Vibe: Cozy and Unexpected From the outside, it looks smallâbut inside, itâs spacious with charming decor (way nicer than the exterior suggests). Tucked away on a quiet block, it feels like a hidden escapeâperfect for dates or low-key dinners. đĄ A Note on Grease Fair warning: Some dishes are rich (looking at you, lamb pappardelle). Itâs worth it, but maybe skip the appetizer if youâre light eaters. đ Verdict Harvest is a sleeper hitâno viral hype, just solid, delicious food. If you love hearty pastas, elevated charcuterie, or discovering underrated spots, this is non-negotiable. đ Harvest: Bostonâs best-kept Western bistro secretâweâre already planning our return. #BostonHiddenGems #PastaLovers #CozyDinners
