Hidden Italian Gem in Laguna 🤍 Surrounded by the Aroma of Truffles

As one of my favorite beach areas near Irvine, I’ve tried so many ocean-view restaurants in Laguna that I almost didn’t know where to eat next 😅 But this time, I discovered this cute little Italian spot — no sea view, but the flavors totally won me over! 🇮🇹❤️ For appetizers, we ordered the Flori di Zucca The tempura-style coating was super crispy 🌼 Inside the tender zucchini flowers was creamy ricotta cheese — delicate and delicious! For pasta, all three of us went for white sauce + truffle 🍝 My friend and I chose Strozzapreti — the server’s daily special recommendation The twisted pasta was wonderfully chewy, and the sausage crumbs added a savory kick 🐖✨ My boyfriend ordered Spaghetti, which surprisingly stood out even more! (I usually don’t prefer thin spaghetti because it feels boring… anyone else get that? 🥹) But his dish, maybe because of the pasta shape, absorbed the truffle flavor so deeply — every strand was infused with rich, aromatic goodness 🍄💫 It got a bit heavy after a while, though.
