This was our second visit to Supawan—the first was years ago for takeaway—so this time, we truly had the chance to appreciate and review this hidden gem with fresh eyes. Tucked away on a quiet, unassuming bend of Caledonian Road, this restaurant is a treasure waiting to be discovered. We arrived with high expectations and hungry stomachs—and we were not disappointed! As passionate and critical fans of Thai cuisine, we’re rarely fully satisfied with Thai restaurants in London. But Supawan’s Green Chicken Curry was nothing short of spectacular—completely authentic, fragrant, and rich with flavor. It’s a dish that wouldn’t be out of place in a top-tier restaurant in Bangkok! 🍗💚 Served with steamed rice, it’s something I could happily eat all day long. If I had one small note, it would be that I wished for a bit more curry sauce and perhaps a different cut of chicken. Still, an unforgettable dish! As for the other dishes: Banana Blossom Salad 🥗: A beautiful balance of sweet, sour, and just the right touch of spice. Refreshing and full of texture! Corn Fritters 🌽: Generous in portion, though slightly over-fried, making them a bit harder than ideal. Sadly, the Pad Thai was not available that day—a slight disappointment, though it did save my wallet a bit, as it’s one of the pricier items on the menu! 😄 The service was impeccable—polite, prompt, and completely pressure-free. The staff made us feel welcome and well taken care of from start to finish. 🙏💫 If you’re searching for true Southern Thai flavors in London, served with heart and authenticity, Supawan is a must-visit.
