Hitting the Links at LA’s Golf Courses 7

In summary, this is a pretty average, nothing special golf course, perfect for beginners, but might be a bit boring for seasoned golfers (like me). El Dorado Park Golf Course (Long Beach) is nestled in a unique, picturesque corner of Long Beach, California. This course is characterized by lush scenery that never seems to end, with stunning views at every turn. 🌿 Designed by golfing legend Ted Robinson and built in 1962, this 6921-yard, par-72 course is the renowned host of the Long Beach Open, featuring a charming championship layout with perfect practice facilities, instruction from certified PGA professionals, and beautiful event venues. It’s been ranked among the top 100 golf courses by GolfLink in 2008 and was named the Best Golf Course in 2012 by Wedding Wire. 🏆 My take: The location in Long Beach felt a bit boring to me, relatively secluded, with a pretty standard course. The fairways are wide, and the sand traps and slopes are all standard issue, nothing out of the ordinary. The course is in good condition, though the greens are fast and a bit bumpy. One plus is that there are few players, and everyone is pretty chill; no rushing or waiting for the group ahead, finished in 4 hours. ⛳ Recommendation: 5/10. Suitable for those who prefer a standard course without too many obstacles. Difficulty: 6/10. You’ll need a few holes to get used to the unusually fast greens. #AestheticsOfLife #GolfCourse #LosAngelesTravel #LA #UniquePhotoPoses
