Hokuriku Takada, Am (Drifting) Trip π€οΈ
The weather forecast for February 14th predicted cloudy skies with a chance of rain in Am βοΈ. After breakfast at 9:30 AM, the sun was shining brightly in Toyama βοΈ. After some hesitation, I still decided to go with a cheerful heart. On the way, I passed through Takada to pay respects to the Great Buddha, and the weather remained sunny π. I secretly rejoiced in my decision π. The train to Am... After getting off the train, the Am coast was already experiencing a fine drizzle π§οΈ. I couldn't blame the heavens for being unkind; I could only blame myself for being too stubborn π. The snow-capped mountains ποΈ were definitely playing "hide and seek," like a shy maiden half-covering her face with a lute. Since I was already there, I decided to wait with determination for the moment when they would finally reveal themselves π. The four of us waited in a small white building for the clouds to clear π... Fortunately, the heavens favored us mortals, and soon the rain stopped and the clouds cleared. Gradually + gradually + faintly, the distant snow-capped mountains remained elusive, teasing our hearts... π On the way back in the evening, the train from Takada Station to Toyama was delayed by over half an hour, which was quite rare and something I had never encountered before. The announcements π£ every few minutes were like playing the lute to a cow, but fortunately, I had already cultivated a calm and composed attitude on my way back from Am. Even if I was shivering from the cold, I maintained a stylish posture with gritted teeth π. I wonder if the seemingly unruffled local residents felt the same way inside. The trip to Am was truly a mix of rain and sunshine, full of ups and downs! #Japan #Toyama #TakadaStation π
