Honolulu, Hawaii | KCC Farmers Market โ Grilled Abalone is a YES! ๐
If you're on Oahu, don't miss the KCC Farmers Market every Saturday! ๐ Hours: Saturdays, 7โ11 AM I arrived at 9:30 AM โ it was crowded and lively! ๐คฃ After scoping out the scene, I jumped into line for these highlights: 1๏ธโฃ Kona Abalone ๐ Highly recommended! Freshly grilled live abalone โ 3 flavors available. I tried garlic butter โ tender, juicy, and super fragrant ๐ Also ordered the abalone salad with seaweed and fish roe โ refreshing and delicious! 2๏ธโฃ Fresh Sugarcane & Passionfruit Juice ๐ง Sweet and energizing โ loved it! 3๏ธโฃ Japanese Musubi ๐ Tuna and veggie options โ both solid choices! 4๏ธโฃ Strawberry Daifuku ๐ Okay if you like mochi, but nothing special. 5๏ธโฃ Takoyaki ๐ Got the cheese flavor โ decent, but a bit too much batter ๐ 6๏ธโฃ Mangosteen Pricey ๐ธ and not very fleshy โ skip unless youโre curious. 7๏ธโฃ Seafood Soup ๐ฒ Only $5 and packed with ingredients! Great value. The market is big and full of produce, local products, and ready-to-eat foods. Itโs not the cheapest, but itโs all about the vibe and experience! ๐ฅฅ๐ฝ๐ซ โ ๏ธ Note: There arenโt many proper seats โ the benches across the street near the school are blocked off, but you can sit on ledges or grassy edges. Perfect for a casual picnic vibe! ๐ ๐ป Restrooms are available at the school and are pretty clean. ๐ And right next to it โ Diamond Head! Hike it off after eating! ๐๏ธ๐ #Hawaii #KCCFarmersMarket #HonoluluEats #LocalFood #FoodMarket #Oahu #TravelHawaii ๐บ
