Honolulu, Hawaii | KCC Farmers Market β Grilled Abalone is a YES! π
If you're on Oahu, don't miss the KCC Farmers Market every Saturday! π Hours: Saturdays, 7β11 AM I arrived at 9:30 AM β it was crowded and lively! π€£ After scoping out the scene, I jumped into line for these highlights: 1οΈβ£ Kona Abalone π Highly recommended! Freshly grilled live abalone β 3 flavors available. I tried garlic butter β tender, juicy, and super fragrant π Also ordered the abalone salad with seaweed and fish roe β refreshing and delicious! 2οΈβ£ Fresh Sugarcane & Passionfruit Juice π§ Sweet and energizing β loved it! 3οΈβ£ Japanese Musubi π Tuna and veggie options β both solid choices! 4οΈβ£ Strawberry Daifuku π Okay if you like mochi, but nothing special. 5οΈβ£ Takoyaki π Got the cheese flavor β decent, but a bit too much batter π 6οΈβ£ Mangosteen Pricey πΈ and not very fleshy β skip unless youβre curious. 7οΈβ£ Seafood Soup π² Only $5 and packed with ingredients! Great value. The market is big and full of produce, local products, and ready-to-eat foods. Itβs not the cheapest, but itβs all about the vibe and experience! π₯₯π½π« β οΈ Note: There arenβt many proper seats β the benches across the street near the school are blocked off, but you can sit on ledges or grassy edges. Perfect for a casual picnic vibe! π π» Restrooms are available at the school and are pretty clean. π And right next to it β Diamond Head! Hike it off after eating! ποΈπ #Hawaii #KCCFarmersMarket #HonoluluEats #LocalFood #FoodMarket #Oahu #TravelHawaii πΊ
