Honolulu, Hawaii | KCC Farmers Market – Grilled Abalone is a YES! πŸ™Œ

If you're on Oahu, don't miss the KCC Farmers Market every Saturday! πŸ“ Hours: Saturdays, 7–11 AM I arrived at 9:30 AM β€” it was crowded and lively! 🀣 After scoping out the scene, I jumped into line for these highlights: 1️⃣ Kona Abalone 🐚 Highly recommended! Freshly grilled live abalone β€” 3 flavors available. I tried garlic butter β€” tender, juicy, and super fragrant πŸ˜‹ Also ordered the abalone salad with seaweed and fish roe β€” refreshing and delicious! 2️⃣ Fresh Sugarcane & Passionfruit Juice πŸ§ƒ Sweet and energizing β€” loved it! 3️⃣ Japanese Musubi πŸ™ Tuna and veggie options β€” both solid choices! 4️⃣ Strawberry Daifuku πŸ“ Okay if you like mochi, but nothing special. 5️⃣ Takoyaki πŸ™ Got the cheese flavor β€” decent, but a bit too much batter πŸ˜‰ 6️⃣ Mangosteen Pricey πŸ’Έ and not very fleshy β€” skip unless you’re curious. 7️⃣ Seafood Soup 🍲 Only $5 and packed with ingredients! Great value. The market is big and full of produce, local products, and ready-to-eat foods. It’s not the cheapest, but it’s all about the vibe and experience! πŸ₯₯🌽🫐 ⚠️ Note: There aren’t many proper seats β€” the benches across the street near the school are blocked off, but you can sit on ledges or grassy edges. Perfect for a casual picnic vibe! πŸ˜‚ 🚻 Restrooms are available at the school and are pretty clean. πŸ’Ž And right next to it β€” Diamond Head! Hike it off after eating! πŸ”οΈπŸƒ #Hawaii #KCCFarmersMarket #HonoluluEats #LocalFood #FoodMarket #Oahu #TravelHawaii 🌺
