🏨 Hotel Review|DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Hotel Boston - Cambridge
It’s been a while since my last hotel review! (Mostly stayed in Airbnbs during LLM travels, plus US hotels are crazy expensive 😅). But this time—it’s a graduation season special! 🎓 Booked this for my sister and her husband to celebrate after Harvard’s graduation ceremony. Chose this hotel for its spacious suites and "relatively reasonable" pricing. Previously stayed at DoubleTree for work/travel—solid experience, and this one impressed too! 📍 Location: 10-min drive to Harvard 🚗 Along the Charles River 🌊 (quiet but slightly dark at night) Nearest Red Line subway: Central Station (a bit far—better to drive/take rideshare) 15-min drive from Logan Airport (no traffic) ✈️ 📍 Amenities: Renovated in 2008 (typical US hotel "newness" 😉) Huge atrium courtyard—great natural light! ☀️ River View King Suite with Separate Bedroom exceeded expectations! Suite layout perfect for family gatherings/friends 🎉 Microwave in-room → great for leftovers! 🍲 Charles River views right outside the window 🏞️ 📍 Food: Breakfast included (but they slept in 😴) 24/7 convenience store on-site: instant noodles, chips, yogurt, coffee, snacks 🍜🍫—self-checkout! 📍 Service: ❌ Front desk was slow + confused about my pre-paid Ctrip booking (tried to charge extra!). Had to temporarily pay, but Ctrip support resolved it quickly. ❌ No phone chargers available (surprising for a big brand!) ❌ No proactive info about breakfast/facilities—service doesn’t match China standards 😔 💸 Price: ~¥2000+/night (late May graduation season—expected for US hotels!) 📈 Verdict: Great for graduation celebrations near Harvard with family/friends! 🥳 But—BOOK EARLY! 🚨 #HotelLover #Harvard #HarvardLaw #HarvardGrad #BostonHotels #Boston #HotelReview
