β¨ How to Ride Along the Kamogawa River (2) π΄ββοΈ
Second Segment: Fushimi Inari Shrine β ππ Sanjusangendo β π Kiyomizu-dera πΏ π After leaving the shrine, I rode along a small river, which is actually the eastern bank of the Kamogawa River. I entered the river area near Kujyo and exited near Nanajo (the path I was on ended). π Unexpectedly, I ended up at Sanjusangendo, which I highly recommend! π Sanjusangendo, Japan's number one national treasure, left me in awe as soon as I entered the hall and saw the Thousand Buddhas of Kannon (1,001 statues)! (Image from the internet) πΏ π Third Segment: Kiyomizu-dera β π Kyoto Gion Post Office β Shijo Bridge back into the Kamogawa River β Kamogawa River Delta πΏ The area around Shijo is one of the liveliest parts of the Kamogawa River π The scenery along this route is incredibly beautiful! I stopped by the post office to send postcards to my friends. π #Kyoto π #KamogawaRiver π
