Howlin Ray's – The #1 Fried Chicken on the West Coast in My Heart! 🍗

Even though the storefront is small and tucked away in a corner of a plaza, it truly proves that great flavors need no introduction! 🏆 I arrived around 5 PM and waited in line for about 15 minutes. The service was incredibly friendly! When I chatted with the staff and mentioned I was a student, one of them shouted to the whole shop, “We got a Chinese in da house!” – and all the employees cheered and clapped for me! 🥳👏 It felt a bit random, but interactions like that can totally make my day! 💖 I ordered the tenders + fries + an extra wing, with medium spice level. The staff guy said medium is kind of the tipping point – because anything above that (like "hot") includes ghost pepper! 🌶️ After trying it, I felt the heat was manageable – probably should’ve gone for hot! 😆 The flavor leaned a bit salty, but for someone like me who loves bold tastes, it was absolutely perfect! 📍 727 N Broadway #128, Los Angeles, CA 90012 What about you?
