🍜 Hungry Bird Noodle Review – Honest Thoughts!

Recently tried Hungry Bird, the new spot trending for its $9.9 noodles + free drink + noodle refill. Here’s our real take after visiting today. ✅ The Good: • Price – 2 bowls + appetizer + drinks came to $26.97 before tax – very affordable! • Portions – Meat servings were generous; we couldn’t finish ours. • Service – Friendly staff, clean tables, free water & cups provided. They even wiped our table without us asking! • Environment – Neat, comfortable, no weird smells. ⚠️ The Not-So-Good: • Lanzhou Noodles – Just okay. Compared to other specialty spots, flavor falls a bit short — but again, it’s cheaper. • Beef Noodles – This was a letdown. 🥩 Beef quantity was fine, but quality and flavor were lacking. The broth tasted like diluted ramen soup with soy sauce — my wife called it “dishwater” compared to Taiwanese beef noodle standards. • Noodle texture – My wife found them too firm, but I liked the chew (you can ask for them softer). 🏆 Comparison: Our regular spot, Six Ounces Noodle, charges ~$14/bowl but uses better beef (rib & tendon) and richer broth. 💬 Final Take: If you’re on a budget or just want quick, filling noodles, Hungry Bird works. But for broth snobs or beef noodle lovers, it might disappoint. We’ll go back to try other dishes another time! #HungryBird #LANoodles #BeefNoodleReview #BudgetEats #LAFood #RamenLA #FoodReview #HonestOpinion #NoodleLovers
