I’d Go to Work on Weekends Just for This Sushi Bento… 🍣💼
A little slice of happiness for DTLA workers — this tiny Japanese takeout kiosk tucked inside an urban oasis. To-go only, orders recommended at least 1 hour ahead (walk-ins may wait 30+ minutes). I had one of my best recent meals here — the $45 dual sashimi bowl sounds pricey, but once you see it, you know it’s worth it. I got toro + salmon belly — look at that marbling! The sashimi is cut thick, super fresh, and oh-so-satisfying. The owner proudly shows off the whole fish before slicing — and if you speak Chinese, they might give you a little extra 😉 Besides generous fish, the bowl comes with salad, fruit, and rice seasoned with seaweed — every component feels thoughtful. They also offer sushi, hand rolls, and more. If I could have this for lunch every day, I’d happily work weekends… maybe even a lifetime! 🐟❤️ 📍 Te Isshoku Sushi • Made to Order Take-Out Bunker Hill Steps, 633 W 5th St, Los Angeles, CA 90071 #SashimiBowl #DTLAEats #LATakeout #JapaneseFood #LunchGoals #HiddenGem #FreshFish #WorkLunchUpgrade #FoodieJoy 🥢✨🏙️🌟
