I've been to Sri Lanka, which is bankrupt, and it's really fun.

When my friends heard I was going to Sri Lanka, they all said, "Sri Lanka? It's bankrupt, how can you still go there?"🎃🎃 😘Come on, it's just bankrupt, not gone! This Labor Day, I took my family to Sri Lanka for 6 days. My feeling is that it's generally safe, and the Sri Lankans are very friendly.🏖️ 👀Many infrastructures here were built with Chinese help, such as the Lotus Tower and the Bandaranaike International Conference Hall. During these 6 days, I visited many scenic spots, and the environment was much better than I imagined. I really love such original ecological scenery.☀️☀️ 📍Negombo Fish Market (busiest in the early morning, experience local fishermen's life)🌄 📍St. Mary's Church (Gothic architecture, the light and shadow of stained glass are super beautiful)🌦️ 📍Colombo National Museum (learn about Sri Lanka's history, the Zheng He inscription is a must-see🗾 📍Sigiriya (the 8th wonder of the world, climb the 200-meter boulder to overlook the jungle)🌈🌈 📍Minneriya National Park Safari (take a jeep to find wild elephant herds) 📍Sri Lanka Temple (experience local religious culture)🌆 📍Mirissa Whale Watching👀👀 📍Stilt Fishermen (experience/photograph traditional fishing methods)🌆 📍Sea Train (Galle→Colombo section, the same as in Spirited Away)🏖️ 💡 Practical Tips ✔ Visa: E-visa/visa on arrival (currently visa fee free)😘 ✔ Transportation: It is recommended to charter a car (about $50-70/day). For train experience, choose the mountain or sea section🦐 ✔ Clothing: Trousers or knee-length skirts are required for temples; long sleeves are recommended for Safari to prevent mosquitoes🚞 ✔ Must bring: Sunscreen, motion sickness medicine (for whale watching), plug adapter (British standard) 📌 Reference Itinerary: D1: Chengdu✈️Colombo D2: Negombo - St. Mary's Church - National Museum - Sigiriya👣👣 D3: Minneriya National Park - Kandy Lake - Temple of the Tooth Relic - Tea Factory💕💕 D4: Kandy Sapphire Rough Stone Exhibition Center - Sri Lanka Temple - Stay at hotel🏠🏠 D5: Jewelry Store - Sea Train - Colombo City🏠 D6: Recommended optional whale watching - Galle Ancient City Sri Lanka🇱🇰 has really high cost performance. I will visit it again if I get the chance!👍👍 #TraveltoLessPopularCountries#SriLanka
