I ate delicious tacos in San Diego!
That day, my boyfriend and I specifically drove to Tacos El Gordo 📍. The restaurant is located in Chula Vista at 556 Broadway. It was bustling even before we entered, and the aroma of grilled meat wafted through the air as we approached~😍 As soon as we walked in, we saw several ordering windows, each selling different flavors of tacos 🌮. The two lines near the entrance were particularly long, possibly because several people ahead were ordering a dozen or more to take away ⌛️. We chose other lines instead, which moved quite quickly 👍. We started with six tacos for the two of us, choosing three flavors: Asada (grilled beef), Adobada (marinated pork), and beef tongue. Drinks were refillable 🥤, which was a great deal! We tried the beef tongue first—wow! It was incredibly delicious! 👅 The meat was tender and juicy, perfectly seasoned. In comparison, Asada wasn’t really my favorite; it was a bit dry. Adobada was also tasty, with a fragrant aroma 😊. After finishing, we still felt a bit hungry, so we ordered two more beef tongue tacos and two “beef head” (Cabeza) tacos. But honestly, I couldn’t tell much difference between the beef tongue and beef head—maybe both were just too flavorful! 🥰 My boyfriend said while eating that these were even better than the tacos he had during his trip to Mexico. I totally agree! ❤️ Even though I haven’t been to Mexico, the flavors here left me completely satisfied ✨. If you also love tacos, I highly recommend giving this place a try! Remember to sample a few different flavors—the beef tongue is truly amazing~🌯 #SanDiegoEats #TacoReview #MexicanFood #FoodDiary #FoodShare #CaliforniaTravel #RestaurantRecommendation
