Find Things to DoFind The Best Restaurants

I came to Hatsuyuki in Frisco

🍣I was scratching my head in front of the little blackboard. The best approach is probably to do some homework beforehand, find some pictures, and then check the blackboard to see what’s available today. 🍣Grilled Salmon Belly: The undisputed star of the show. The chef uses a blowtorch to sear fresh salmon, creating a dish that is melt-in-your-mouth and incredibly flavorful. At just $3.50 per piece, it’s an absolute steal. Regulars often order a whole plate, and you can watch the chefs continuously grilling salmon in the restaurant. Incidentally, the à la carte sashimi is also incredibly fresh and sweet. Even as someone who usually doesn’t enjoy raw food, I found it delightful—sweet and crisp, so fresh that you almost forget you’re eating salmon. 🥓Salmon Ponzu: Many people recommended it, but I wasn’t a big fan. The ponzu sauce was too light, making the salmon taste a bit greasy. Hirami: The strong taste of green onions completely overpowered the fish, so I couldn’t really taste the flounder at all. Scallop: This was my first thumbs-up of the night! The scallop was very tender, and the slight bitterness from the orange peel was a delightful surprise. 💕Kinmedai: Pretty standard. 💕Sweet Shrimp: The head of the sweet shrimp is a giveaway—this one was definitely good! 💕Chutoro: Fresh and not greasy. 💕Uni: The best of the night—no fishy taste at all. 💕Unister: Hard to describe... Even after eating several slices of ginger, I couldn’t get rid of the salty and fishy taste. 💕Overall, the value for money is decent. It’s worth a try, but I probably won’t be back anytime soon. #DallasExplore #DallasLife #DallasFood
