I Can’t Believe I Just Discovered How Amazing Live Photos Are!
It seems like the only people who visit San Antonio are fellow Texans or those here for business 😅 👉 Conclusion: San Antonio is really only worth a day trip. These are the only few livable months in Texas—weather’s not too hot yet, and the flowers and trees along the Riverwalk are blooming! 🌸🌿 Come visit while you can! ✅ Basic Info The must-visit spots—Riverwalk and the Alamo—are right next to each other. Parking Garage: Houston Street Garage Address: 111 College St, San Antonio, TX 78205 Price: $10/day (⚠️ What a steal!) ✅ Riverwalk Weekends are crowded! Boat tours obviously have long lines 🚣♀️. Popular restaurants get packed. For day-trippers, just grab any open riverside spot—it’s all a “food desert” anyway 😂, but sitting by the river this season is super relaxing (⚠️ Bring mosquito repellent!). We ate BBQ at The County Line. Not amazing, not terrible—just average Texas BBQ. Prices were decent though! The chicken & beef combo was around $10+ and enough for one. The pork ribs were okay too. There’s a live music spot called On the Bend—nice vibe, great for an afternoon break 🎵. There’s a small art gallery to check out, but don’t expect too much—it’s an “art desert” after all 🎨. Up the steps from the river, there’s a shopping area called La Villita selling small trinkets. About as boring as Nanjing’s Confucius Temple marketplace 😆. ✅ The Alamo Basic History: San Antonio is the only city in Texas with a UNESCO World Heritage site. In 1724, missionaries established a mission station in the Alamo area. It was later occupied by the Spanish and Mexicans and played a key role in the Texas Revolution. History buffs can book guided tours! After exploring the Riverwalk, just walk up to street level—you’ll reach the Alamo. Weekends are packed with people 👫👭👬. Besides guided tours, there’s a small exhibition hall—the Ralston Family Collection Center—though there’s not much inside. ♨️ After using an iPhone for over a decade, I just unlocked the magic of Live Photos—so cool! 📸✨ Too bad you can’t edit them with Meitu anymore—really raises the bar for the “models” 😂 #TexasTravel #SanAntonioDayTrip #SanAntonio
