I could eat at this restaurant all the time!
🩷I’ve never eaten at the same restaurant two weekends in a row, but this place is truly my favorite! This time, I specifically ordered many dishes that I didn’t try last time, and they didn’t disappoint me at all! 🩷The best dish this time was the lamb leg (pictured first)! It was incredibly tender and fragrant, with no gamey flavor at all! The lamb leg wasn’t roasted but rather stewed. It had a soft and falling-apart texture, unlike the more solid texture of grilled skewers. 🩷I finally got to try the hand rice (plov) this time! I was a bit disappointed because the rice had a slightly undercooked texture. But my friend said that’s how hand rice is supposed to be. Friends who aren’t used to eating brown rice might not like this dish, but the pieces of lamb in the hand rice were really delicious! 🩷For the skewers, lamb is definitely a must-order! This time, I also tried beef liver, tenderloin, and shrimp. Since I’m not used to eating offal, I didn’t like the beef liver or the chicken liver from last time. The beef liver this time might not have been well-prepared, as it had an unpleasant smell. The tenderloin skewers were even more tender than the lamb. The most surprising dish this time was the grilled shrimp. How could such ordinary shrimp taste so fragrant and sweet after grilling? #UzbekCuisine #NortheastPhillyFood #AmbianceRestaurant
