📍I Declare: I’ll Return to Salt Lake City Countless Times! 🏔️✨

I knew there were many hiking trails around Salt Lake City, so before this business trip, I planned to squeeze in a hike—and mission accomplished! 🤗 🏔️ Route: Local friends recommended the Lake Blanche Trail in Little Cottonwood Canyon—they said it’s the most beautiful trail they’ve ever done! Though they hadn’t been in three years, they gladly guided me again. We parked along the road near Mill B South Trailhead (📍pinned location)—free parking, and everyone does it! 🌞 Difficulty: Rated ~4/10. It took us about 3 hours to ascend and less than 2 hours to descend. Follow the sound of waterfalls and streams along the way—the path mixes dirt, gravel, and large rocks. Total elevation gain is under 1000m. The first half is shaded and comfortable 🌳; the second half has exposed red rock sections ☀️, but that means you’re almost at the top! Push through—the views are absolutely worth it! Eating a sandwich at the summit with that view = pure happiness 🥪💙! 🦾 Gear: Wear shorts—it’s hot! 🔥 If you wear a tank top like me, sunscreen is a MUST—the UV here is no joke. I’m suffering now 😖. I carried an Osprey Tempest 33L—super light, and I didn’t pack too much. Since my ankles and knees are “vintage,” I wore compression socks and knee straps—no ACL pain on the descent! 🚫 Skip This: Also visited Stansbury Viewpoint for the salt lake view… totally not worth it. I’m officially in love with Utah! I’ll definitely be back! Now it’s time to return to the boring flatlands with my sunburnt shoulders and tanned hands 😖. #HikingTheWorld #SaltLakeCity #Utah #OutdoorGear #MountainViews #TrailLife #NatureLover #AdventureAwaits
