I Discovered a Hidden Gem of "White People Food"!
Italian cuisine really never disappoints! Found another treasure of a restaurant β and it's not bland "white people food"!! Surprisingly flavorful, every dish was absolutely fantastic ~ π Their cocktails were delicious too 1οΈβ£ Burrata β Who knew creamy cheese and sweet corn could pair so well? Cherry tomatoes and truffle balsamic together create a sweet-and-sour combo that's super appetizing π 2οΈβ£ Prosciutto and Green Melon β The classic appetizer of melon and ham. Haven't had green melon in a while, probably a seasonal menu item π 3οΈβ£ Smoked Short Rib Carpaccio β The beef carpaccio that amazed me! Couldn't stop eating the short rib with Parmesan cheese π₯ 4οΈβ£ Fried Mozzarella β Fried mozzarella that cheese lovers can't resist, with crazy-long cheese pulls, savory and soft π§οΈ 5οΈβ£ Rigatoni Bolognese β Every restaurant's tomato-meat sauce recipe is different. This one felt like it had bell peppers added β not greasy at all, absolutely delicious, and the first plate we finished β¨ 6οΈβ£ Spicy Lobster Spaghetti β Thicker than regular spaghetti, more chewy, with great seasoning π¦ My favorite 7οΈβ£ Ink Penne β Strong squid ink flavor. Seafood lovers shouldn't miss it; if you don't like seafood, skip it β this one's very polarizing 8οΈβ£ Grilled Premium Steak β The steak's secret lemon scallion sauce was fragrant. Might be better balanced at medium-well 9οΈβ£ Tiramisu β The caramel on top was crispy and fragrant, with strong coffee and liquor flavors. The mousse wasn't creamy enough though β not made with pure mascarpone π Gelato β Ordered three flavors π¨: coconut was lightly sweet, pistachio was rich, raspberry was sweet and tangy π π Geppetto π 100 N First St, Cambridge, MA 02141 #StudentFoodFinds #BostonEats #BostonRestaurants #BostonFoodExploration #PrettyPlates
