I had a sudden whim to visit the Seattle Aquarium 🐠
Since it might be a holiday season recently, there were quite a lot of people. Parking: Following the tips from some kind - hearted ladies on Xiaohongshu (a Chinese lifestyle - sharing platform), I parked in the parking lot shown in the last picture. Before 10 am on weekdays, you can pay $15 at the payment machine and park until 6 pm. lt's not a long walk from the aquarium to Pike Place Market (though you'll need to climb a flight of stairs 🧗♀️😅). The aquarium has two sections, an old one and a new one. After visiting one section, you have to exit and re - enter through the other entrance, which means you'll need to scan your tickets twice. Don't arrive too early; the staff won't let you in. We were 2 minutes earlier than our reserved time and still weren't allowed in, so we had to stand at the entrance and brave the wind for a while 🌬️😣. Tomorrow, on December 31st at noon, there will be a Santa Claus diving show in the old section. You can check the official website for more detailed information. If you take your time to explore, one and a half hours should be enough. #Aquarium #Seattle #Parking
