I never expected to be hooked by the pancakes at a local brunch spot

I even miss this treat now that I’m back in the Bay Area 🥹 While traveling in Seattle, I discovered a famous brunch restaurant near the Amazon headquarters called Portage Bay. I fell in love with their lemon ricotta pancake! When the dish arrived, I was overwhelmed by the abundance of pink, thinking I might need an insulin shot, but one bite and I was utterly amazed 🥞! The fluffy and delicate texture, paired with the slightly tart and sweet flavors of raspberries and lemon, was not at all cloying. It’s the kind of dessert where you can’t stop after just one bite 😋 The only downside was that, since we were sitting outside with our dog, the server didn’t mention that we could go to the fruit bar (I only found out from a colleague later 🥲). I think it would have been even better with fresh fruit on top 🥹 Besides the pancake, we also ordered shakshuka, gulf shrimp scramble, and salmon benedict.
