I saw a pork backbone bigger than the bowl at a Korean restaurant

This Korean restaurant, checked in by Jennie, has polarized reviews online. I gave it a try and found the flavors not particularly amazing, but definitely not bad either. I followed the trend and ordered three🔥 signature dishes. Here are my personal ratings: 1️⃣ Spicy Pork Bone Stew (p1) ⭐⭐⭐ The presentation was quite impressive, with a massive piece of backbone towering above the bowl. Even the foreigners around us were curious about what we had ordered 😂. The meat quantity is substantial, making it a decent value for money. However, the individual portion doesn't come with potatoes (probably because there's no room in the bowl). The taste is quite plain, just a standard meat broth flavor, which can get a bit monotonous after a while. 2️⃣ Korean Spicy Beef Soup (Yukgaejang) (p2) ⭐⭐⭐⭐ This one has a very generous amount of ingredients. The soup has a salty and spicy flavor, which I think is better than the pork bone stew. It has more depth. The beef is shredded, with a nice texture. I would recommend this one. 3️⃣ Braised Pig's Feet (Jokbal) (p3) ⭐⭐⭐⭐ The portion size is quite satisfying. The pig's feet are fatty but not greasy, and they taste great with the accompanying spicy sauce. However, eating them with the soup can still feel a bit heavy (though the pickled radish, garlic, and green peppers help cut through the richness). This dish is great for a group, but even if you're dining alone, you can take it home and reheat it the next day – it still tastes delicious. 📍 Bi Won 🔎 London WC1A 1NT 💷 Price: £20-30 per person #LondonFood #KoreanCuisine #BoneCrunching #MeatLovers #LondonKorean
